Mechanical Design Engineer - West Yorkshire - up to £70,000 + Benefits - Ref 1639

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for an engineering organisation based in the West Yorkshire that has been running since 1972. Salary up to £70,000 + Benefits.

This company are market leaders within their area of specialism and have their products distributed across the UK. Despite operating at the forefront of the market they serve; they do not lean back and rest on laurels and are continuously developing as a company.

To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a Senior Engineer within the Design Team seeing through the full design life cycle. In this role you will be designing, building and supplying material handling equipment, specialising in mobile lifting equipment and traveling solutions. The role also includes liaising with customers throughout projects.

Ideal Requirements:

• At least 5 years' Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Experience with 3D CAD, ideally Solidworks

• Experience designing Hydraulic Systems
• Hand Calculations/MathCAD
