Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for CNC Machinists in the Bridgwater area. Our client is a market leader in their field, supplying machined parts to aerospace, F1, life science and technology companies.

The Company: Our client is a market leader in their engineering field. They work with over 100 different materials to produce precision machined components for a variety of industries within engineering and manufacturing. This company has a global presence and are continuing their steady growth since their inception in the 1980's.

The Role: You will be responsible for setting and running machines ensuring maximum production is achieved to quality standards. This includes ensuring maximum productivity whilst adhereing to the quality standards, adjusting set ups, altering programming and other machine tasks to ensure maintain production levels.

Duties required:

* Inspecting parts produced

* Adjust Setups/Alter programmes

* Machine set up

* Work in accordance of the quality system

* Ensure all aspects of safety standards are kept at all times

The Candidate:

* Background in CNC Milling or Turning

* Ability to work from Engineering drawings

* Working knowledge of Mazak

* Experience working with flexible materials

* Programming experience with G-Code or CAM software

* Time served Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or Qualifications

* Proven background of CNC machining

* Hardworking, proactive individual with a “can-do” attitude

Benefits:

* £32,200 to £37,950 depending on setting/programming experience

* Monday to Friday

* 28 days Holiday
