We are working to find an Office Administrator for our client, who are a family run manufacturing company.
Some office experience would be beneficial, but equally this could be a trainee role a person with the right enthusiasm and work ethic.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1pm, which is 39 hours over the week. The salary on offer is £23,000 to £26,000, depending on your age and experience, and in all circumstances minimum wage will be met.
The client are based near Edinburgh Way in Harlow and there is parking on site.
On a day to day basis you will be:
* Answering the phone and fielding calls
* Speaking to customers and suppliers
* Assisting with bookkeeping and accounts administration
* Assisting with health and safety and compliance paperwork
* Providing administrative assistance to the wider team
* Helping the Directors with ad hoc tasks and projects
We are looking for someone with:
* The ability to follow instructions and learn
* The desire to work hard and learn new things
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* A polite and efficient telephone manner
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
