Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus Structure An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new therapeutic residential children's home. This role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping the future of a new home that will support young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
This position is perfect for a passionate and experienced Registered Home Manager with a desire to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. The successful candidate will manage the home's day-to-day operations while maintaining a strong therapeutic ethos that prioritises the well-being and development of children.
What We're Looking For - Qualifications and Certification:
Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (to be completed within 3 years of employment) OR a Registered Manager's Award/Level 5 in Health and Social Care. - Experience in Care Management:
At least 2 years in a home management role within children's residential care, demonstrating effective leadership and care oversight. - Regulatory Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted inspection frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of care. - Safeguarding Expertise:
Practical knowledge of safeguarding legislation, children's rights, and responsibilities within a professional care network.
