Spire Occupational Health (Spire OH) is looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly efficient Immunisation Nurse to join our growing team!
As an Immunisation Nurse, you will support the Lead Immunisation Nurse and Regional Immunisation Nurse Manager to deliver expert clinical services at the University of Worcester and additional client sites across other regions. Access to a car and a valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
- Experience working in an Occupational Health setting is desirable but not essential.
- Must have post- registration experience in Immunisations.
- Must be proficient in Phlebotomy.
- Must have more than 2 years post registration experience.
- Can evidence an up-to-date BLS & anaphylaxis.
- Access to a car and a valid driving license is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will support the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester and other clients.
- Support the team with Clinical audits.
- Improving and maintaining quality and safety standards and participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as SEQOHS.
- Supporting service modernisation when required.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within the speciality of Occupational Health and ensure this reflects in your own clinical practice.
- Monitor the quality-of-service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation.
- To work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, always maintaining professional standards.
