Job Title: Registered Manager - Parenting Assessment Centre

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Parenting Assessment Centre in Northamptonshire. This is a critical role in safeguarding children and providing high-quality assessments to families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and therapists.
- Ensure the effective recruitment, training, and development of all staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing support and mentorship.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Clinical Oversight:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality assessments, including risk assessments, psychological evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
- Ensure all assessments are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all assessments and interventions.
- Collaborate with external agencies, including local authorities, courts, and other professionals involved in the child protection system.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the assessment center, including budget management, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Represent the organization at relevant meetings and conferences.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Qualifications:
- Essential: Relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, MSW)
- Highly desirable: Relevant management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management)
- Experience:
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams within a child protection setting.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of child protection legislation, procedures, and best practice.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and supervisory skills.
