Electrical ImproverLocation: Central LondonHours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30The RoleWorking as part of a large team the main focus of the Electrical Improver will be carrying out electrical maintenance and minor installations.  Day to day responsibilities

• Electrical reactive duties within properties
• Survey jobs and notify your team leader of materials required.
• Must be calm under pressure and always willing to help. Be consistent in terms of attitude, attendance, timekeeping, and workmanship.
• Assist in monitoring practices to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Keeping a PDA up to date

KnowledgeMust have a good knowledge of Electrical fault finding, testing and inspection.ExperienceA minimum of 3 years commercial electrical experience, in establishments such as hospitals, schools, residential buildings, university’s, offices.Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.Qualifications

• 18th Edition
• City & Guilds Level 2 in Electrical Installations
• You must have a proven track record within the industry with a good steady work record.
• Proof of any trade training/course’s (NVQ/C&G)
• IPAF 3a/3b ticket (ideal but not essential)

• Must be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and provide documentation.
