The Quality Inspector role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.

The Quality Inspector will be required to work the following Shift: Days - Monday to Thursday 07.30am till 16.15pm & Friday 07.30am till 12.30 midday.

Key experience for the Quality Inspector:

* Previous, proven experience within a Nuclear / Quality Inspectors' role

* Experienced within a manufacturing environment.

* Knowledge of ISO9001 as well as ASME PED this would be at an advantage.

* Strong background in technical understanding

* Quality Engineering

* We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is used to work within a heavy engineering environment.

* Time served - mechanical engineer.

* At least 2-3 years' experience within Quality control

Key Duties for the Quality Inspector:

* Maintain all controlled document files and test records.

* Perform Inspections of purchased parts.

* Monitor Equipment & Instrumentation to ensure operation and calibration

* Support the Writing and updating of inspection procedures

* Attending meetings to provide reports and update with the general manager / Senior Quality engineer.

* Work or reject subassemblies or finish products as required.

* Be responsible for enforcing safety and quality on site.
