Role Summary
The CASS Audit Liaison Officer is the focal point for supporting the day-to-day management of the EFSL CASS and Digital Audits. The role oversees and maintains the co-ordination of said audits, working with the Operational teams whilst maintaining EFSL's relationship with the external auditors.
This includes taking responsibility for the collation, management, and accuracy of the required documentation between EFSL and the external auditors.
The role will also incorporate project and ad hoc activities to support the CASS Manager
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage the CASS & Digital audit requests coming through from PwC on Connect.
- Schedule walkthroughs and follow up meetings with relevant business stakeholders.
- Attend all walkthroughs, recording of meetings, filing.
- Follow up on all actions, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure all documentation provided to PwC is sense checked, accurate and appropriately filed.
- Distribute & escalate queries.
- Provide MI to the CASS Manager for the CASS Governance, Board & Audit committees.
- Provide support and cover to the CASS Office in other day to day activities where required.
Skills & Knowledge and Qualifications
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well with all levels of a diverse range of staff, including senior and or executive management.
- Strong documentation, presentation, problem serving, organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience of regulatory responsibilities of an FCA supervised firm.
- Assertive, self-confident, self-motivated, and determined to achieve personal and team goals.
- Possesses a proactive and solution orientated attitude.
- Able to prioritise and manage own workload.
- IOC qualification (or working towards)
