Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Electrical Panel Builder with extensive experience in control panel manufacturing and machine wiring? Do you want to work for an established company with over 35 years of experience in providing advanced test systems to the automotive industry? Our client designs, manufactures, and supports test systems globally for a wide range of applications, including electrification and hydrogen technologies.

They are seeking a Electrical Panel Builder to join their Production Department, working on cutting-edge products for customers ranging from Tier 1 Vehicle Manufacturers to Formula One teams.

Experience Required:

* Extensive experience in panel building and machine wiring.

* Proven ability to interpret electrical drawings, Bills of Materials, and schematics.

* Proficiency in soldering connectors and manufacturing looms to a high standard.

* Basic mechanical skills, such as marking out, drilling, and cutting panels.

* Understanding of electrical standards, including BS7671, BS EN (phone number removed):2018, and EN13849.

* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manufacture control panels designed for use in engine and drivetrain test cells.

* Wire electrical components, such as pumps, motors, and sensors, within products or test cells.

* Assemble and install electrical and electronic components in main junction boxes, control panels, and instrument panels, ensuring high-quality builds.

* Provide feedback on technical drawings and suggest improvements using the company's ISO change control procedures.

* Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation for all work completed.

* Perform quality checks on team members' work and contribute to improving departmental standards.

* Guide and support less experienced staff and apprentices within the department.

* Help manage stock levels and ensure consumables are available for builds.

* Suggest improvements to aid efficiency and productivity within the team.
