English Teacher - Slough

We are working with an outstanding school based in Slough who are looking to appoint a motivated and dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team from April 2025. School's vision is to empower students, enabling them to take control of their own future and enhance their life chances through the learning experiences the school offers.
About the Role

4-day teaching week ( in one week, this day will be a Friday/Monday)
Centralised behaviour management system
No emails between 6pm-6am daily and over the weekend
No before/after school and break/lunch supervision duty
No homework (except years 11,13)
Marking only every 12 lessons
Dedicated 1-2-1 subject specific coaching for all staff through or Lead PractitionersQualifications and Person Specification

Qualified English Teacher with experience teaching in secondary schools in the UK
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate ICT into lessons
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge and experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum
Must be eligible to work in the UKEnglish Teacher
