Senior Embedded Android Software Engineer (hybrid):

* AOSP Android platform development, kernel configuration and tuning, including Android framework/service alterations and the Android toolchain

* Good understanding of the Android architecture and ecosystem, including low level and security

* Linux kernel and system programming

* Experience optimising Linux/Android performance, ie power management

* C++

* Linux open source project configuration management and patching techniques advantageous

* All of the following of interest:

* Binder

* AIDL

* Services (C++ / Java)

* Framework APIs

* NDK, JNI

* CTS

* SE Linux

Role: Senior Embedded Android Software Engineer / AOSP Android Software Architect
Location: Cambridge (with hybrid options. 2 days working from home)
Salary: £70-85K plus private healthcare, annual bonus, family flexible organization, pension, dental plan, life assurance, free parking and an early finish on Fridays! (8 hours Monday to Thursday, 5 hours Friday)
