RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing property business who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their medium sized finance team. This is a fixed term contact to support developments within the department. You will work closely with and report to the Financial Director on a daily basis to support the department during a development process.

• Salary circa £65,000 - £70,000
• 3-month fixed term contract
• 28 days holiday pro rata

The Role

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Accruals, prepayments, monthly journals

• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Profit and loss
• Monitoring the financial performance of the company
• Implementing change and ongoing improvements for efficiency

• Overseeing rent and service charge renting
• Invoice preparation and processing for service charge invoices
• Review calculated variances to identify any significant discrepancies
• To support with year end and audit preparations

The Person

• Must be a fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant
• Experience with service charge is an advantage but not essential
• Similar experience working within the property or construction sector would be an advantage
• Previous audit experience
