We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our vibrant Arts department. The Role:

Teaching Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following the school's curriculum and fostering a love for Drama among students.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Drama curriculum, ensuring it is innovative, inclusive, and meets the needs of all learners.

Extra-Curricular Activities: Organize and lead extra-curricular Drama activities such as school productions, drama clubs, workshops, and trips, enriching students' experiences beyond the classroom.

Assessment and Reporting: Assess students' progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their development, and maintaining accurate records of their achievements.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Drama department and across the school to promote Drama as a vital part of the curriculum and to share best practices.

Pastoral Support: Contribute to the pastoral care of students, promoting their well-being and providing guidance as required.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Drama or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching Drama at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a strong understanding of Drama curriculum requirements.
Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Commitment to promoting extra-curricular Drama activities and contributing to the wider life of the school.
