▪ | All analysts must be familiar with their own capabilities (and company authorisation). |
▪ | All analysts must have a good awareness of health & safety matters |
▪ | All analysts must monitor, adapt, and review their own methods for analytical sampling as per HSG248, In House Method Statement and MQP116 Asbestos Analytical Procedures. |
▪ | Analysts will be responsible for conducting all aspects of airborne asbestos sampling and fibre counting. |
▪ | Analyst shall be responsible for conducting 4 Stage clearance procedures. |
▪ | Responsible for authorising and issuing air testing/4SC certification/reports. |
▪ | Calibrations of Equipment shall be kept up to date. |
▪ | Allocated vehicle and equipment shall be maintained in operation order. |
▪ | The analyst shall notify the Quality/Technical Manager immediately should equipment become faulty, fail or fall outside of calibration range. |
▪ | All analysts must report to seniors with any improvement ideas |
▪ | All analysts must attend regular staff meetings to discuss issues and improvements |
▪ | Ensuring TTL meets all its legal and safety commitments |
▪ | Analysts are expected to participate in the external and in-house quality control programmes |
▪ | Lead by example |
▪ | Technical support as competent person. Provide advice on operational matters |
▪ | Ensure they participate in briefings, toolbox talks, training as and when required |
▪ | Attend annual performance review meetings |
▪ | Assist in the training and auditing of other technical staff |
▪ | Complete company site specific records correctly in a legible fashion in preparation for data entry. |
