HGV Class 2 Drivers Needed-Join Our Expanding Team!

We are recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver on behalf of our client, offering a competitive annual salary of £32,868 plus a monthly bonus scheme. If you're a dependable driver committed to safety and exceptional customer service, this could be your perfect next step!

Role Summary:

Our client is looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to handle scheduled deliveries while upholding their established standards and procedures. This is an excellent chance to join a well-established team and contribute to ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled daily deliveries.
• Ensure vehicle road worthiness and secure loads before departure.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork following company policies.
• Handle payments as per company guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Deposit all payments collected at the end of each shift.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and maintain vehicle security.
• Keep vehicles clean to meet audit standards.
• Report any vehicle issues or defects promptly to the Operations Manager.
• Communicate with the Operations Manager to address customer needs.
• Assist in warehouse tasks, including picking and loading, within contracted hours.
• Carry out any additional general duties that the role requires.

What We're Looking For:

• Licence: Valid Category C driving license.
• Driving Record: No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions).
• Physical Fitness: Able to lift, manoeuvre goods, and comfortably enter/exit the vehicle.
• Reliable Transport: Own vehicle for commuting to work.
