Job Title: Project Manager

About the Role:

Our Client, based in Norfolk, are a dynamic and rapidly growing innovator in the renewable energy sector. They are seeking an experienced and progressive Project Manager to join their Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to take delivery capabilities to the next level by implementing medium to large-scale solar PV projects. You will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, both in technical achievement and Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead solar projects from contract award through to client handover.

Develop project programmes, monitor progress, and report to both Company directors and clients.

Set up contracts with the supply chain, negotiate terms, and brief Directors.

Ensure PV installations are completed by sub-contractors within the programme schedule and budgets as per contract.

Deliver briefings and coordinate activities on contracts confidently.

Ensure compliance with quality and safety of works at all times.

Effectively manage multiple sites and respective Site Managers.

Continuously monitor and maintain excellent levels of H&S on site.

Create and review RAMS, CPPs, and other H&S documentation.

Take full responsibility for the daily operations of the project delivery team.

Provide accurate and regular reporting of project performance.

Attend and report on meetings throughout the projects.

Procure subcontract labour, materials, and ancillary items where necessary, in line with company policy and limits of authority.

At project completion, provide a detailed review of performance against budget, identifying areas for improvement.

Undertake site surveys and inspections as required.

About You:

We are looking for the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

Proven experience in construction project management.

Desirable experience in commercial solar PV site management or similar.

Ability to read and interpret electrical designs from specifications and surveys.

Robust understanding of site H&S and CDM requirements, with a demonstrable understanding of current legislation and regulations.

Experience in groundworks would be advantageous.

Experience of Central Inverter and HV would be advantageous.

Ability to manage and maintain positive client relationships.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary from £30,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE.

28 days holiday, rising by 1 day per full year of employment, maximum of 33
