We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Planner / Clerk to join our client on a Temp to Perm basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, is confident using Excel, and enjoys the challenge of route planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan delivery routes from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and timeliness

* Create and manage driver manifests

* Book agency drivers and staff as required

* Schedule and confirm store deliveries

* Liaise with drivers, agencies, and store managers to ensure smooth daily operations

* Monitor and amend routes where needed to accommodate delays or last-minute changes

* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company processes

What We're Looking For:

* Strong organisational and planning skills

* Confident using Excel and other basic IT tools

* Comfortable working with maps and route planning software

* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

* Able to work independently and under pressure

* Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a similar role is desirable

Monday-Friday hours (no weekends!)
