Job Title: Support Worker

Purpose of the Role:
This role involves delivering high-quality housing-related support to individuals with diverse needs. The focus is on enabling clients to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and improve their quality of life, while adhering to organisational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide housing-related support tailored to individual needs, helping clients identify and build on their strengths to achieve personal goals.

* Support clients in developing independent living skills to prevent homelessness and enable appropriate move-on opportunities.

* Conduct one-to-one sessions, including support and safety planning, to address client needs and aspirations.

* Assist clients in accessing education, health, and leisure activities, accompanying them when necessary.

* Maintain accurate client records and other service-related documentation, including electronic systems.

* Undertake housing management duties, such as rent collection, reporting repairs, and managing tenancy/licence agreements from start to finish.

* Promote effective multi-agency collaboration to mitigate risks and ensure client needs are met to a high standard by building strong relationships with community, statutory, and voluntary organisations.

* Provide support with domestic tasks when required.

* Stay informed of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures and ensure compliance in all areas of work.

* Participate in regular supervision, appraisals, and training to develop professionally and enhance service delivery.
