I am currently looking for Site Agents for a Civil Engineering Contractor covering projects in Scotland. The company are one of the leading Civil Engineering contractors in the region with over £200 turnover.

Role Overview:
The Site Agent will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of civil engineering projects on site. The role involves coordinating teams, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and delivering projects within the agreed timeframes and budgets. The Site Agent will be the primary point of contact for all on-site activities and will ensure that the project progresses smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Management: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate the activities of contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure that works are progressing as scheduled. Monitor the construction processes to ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications.

* Health and Safety:Take responsibility for maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards on site. Ensure that all site personnel are properly trained and adhere to safety protocols.

* Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including the client, local authorities, suppliers, and other external parties.

* Project Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including progress reports, work schedules, and incident logs. Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and senior management team.

Key Requirements:

* A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred)

* Proven experience in a Site Agent or Site Manager role within the civil engineering or construction industry.

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Full UK driving license (required for travel between sites)

* Flexibility to work across various locations within Scotland as required by the project.

* Ability to relocate if necessary for long-term project work.
