Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across different disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to post-16 learners.

* Support students in their understanding and application of scientific concepts, fostering critical thinking.

* Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.

* Collaborate with the Science department on curriculum planning and development.

* Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged and supported in their learning.

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification with a background in Science.

* Experience teaching Science to post-16 students, preferably in a further education setting.

* Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and assessment practices for further education.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and inspire students.
