Asset Coordinator - Permanent - Solihull - Up to £30,000 Per Annum

It's an exciting time to join this growing Asset team who are an integral part of the project delivery in the maintenance of thousands of telecoms sites. With over 3,300 shared wireless facilities across the UK, our client is a market leader in wireless connectivity solutions.

As an Asset Coordinator, you will act as the front of house dealing with external enquiries from customers, coordinate essential maintenance programmes and administrational project support.

This position is ideal for a candidate who has already held a Project Coordinator or Junior PM position, has great communication skills, is PC literate and can manage multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* To act as the front of house for the Asset Team, dealing with external enquiries from customers, Landlord Partners and other external parties and assigning them to the relevant team/case holder whilst tracking resolution.

* Coordinate essential maintenance programmes such as Annual Inspections, grounds maintenance, defect repairs and upgrade programmes across the Portfolio.

* Collate supplier performance data.

* Processing and allocation of Incidents/New Defects arising to the relevant team.

* Monitor, report and drive Defect resolution to ensure timely closure to get sites back online.

* Preparation of contractor and programme performance reports.

* Assist in the coordinated response to any incidents arising on site.

Qualifications and Skills

* Energy, drive, and the ability to multitask the resolution of multiple issues, sometimes simultaneously across several sites are essential.

* This would come from a Facilities Management, Construction background or recent qualifications with transferrable PM or PMO skills.

* Great communication skills and a customer centric approach will separate a great candidate from a qualified candidate.

* Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office Applications

* Experience working as or with Telecoms contractors is likely to be a benefit, as would knowledge of the HSEQ requirements on sites.

* A background in Telecoms Asset Management would be an advantage
