Strategy Education are delighted to be working with a SEN School in Southwest London who are recruiting for Primary SEN Teachers to start in September 2024.

This is a special school for learners with severe learning disabilities. The school is incredibly supportive, and they provide comprehensive CPD.

All teachers receive fortnightly coaching and mentoring.

The school is a forward-thinking and innovative special school based in several campuses across the borough of Richmond upon Thames.

The school is a day special school for learners with severe and complex learning difficulties aged between 4 and 19 years, dedicated to preparing every learners to become an active contributor to their community by championing independence, engaging families and promoting communication. The majority of learner have a co- diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders or have additional physical and sensory disabilities. Learners come from all parts of the borough and from neighbouring boroughs. The school works closely with colleagues from Educational Psychology, Health, Social Care and their Family Worker to ensure that learners receive all the support and challenge they need to achieve. Every learner has an EHCP, including input from Speech and Language, Occupational, Physio and Music Therapy. The school has very high aspirations for all of learners and high expectations of themselves.

Salary: Outer London MPR plus SEN Scale (depending on qualifications and experience)

The successful Primary SEN Teacher will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer.
