Position: General Manager
Location: Southern Suburbs, Cape Town
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth functionality.
- Lead and mentor staff across all departments, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve overall service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage financials, including budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with Halaal standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Address any venue-related issues promptly and effectively.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Maintain high standards of overall service and guest satisfaction.
- Achieve financial targets and manage budgets efficiently.
- Ensure staff compliance with Halaal standards, health and safety protocols.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Successfully manage and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of any venue-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in a Halaal environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments with ease.
- A degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
