Google WAF Engineer - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled Google WAF Engineer to join our largest client and pairing up with one of the largest financial institutions in the world

This role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office in Canary Wharf and 3 days a working from home, providing the perfect balance of flexibility and engagement with the team. The client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the programme scope for the Back End of next year.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering and implementing the Cloud Network Security controls related to Cloud Armor, Managed Protection Plus.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain WAF solutions in GCP to protect web applications from various attacks, including OWASP Top 10 and Zero-Day vulnerabilities.
• Manage WAF codes via PAC tool like Terraform and Github
• Document WAF configurations, policies, and procedures using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills:

• Tech Stack: GCP, Cloud Network Security, Cloud Armor, Managed Protection Plus, DevOps, Teraform, GitHub, DevOps, OWASP Top 10
• Experience in designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining WAF solutions, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to protect web applications from a variety of threats, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and Zero-Day attacks
• Collaboration with application development teams and security teams to integrate WAF into the development pipeline.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View to Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £550 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid/Canary Wharf
