The Company
Our client is an innovator in the environmental sector who are looking for a MultiSkilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a pivotal role, co-ordinating a small maintenance team and requires a highly skilled individual with experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in bulk handling or waste processing environments. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our SRF processing facility, with a focus on electrical maintenance, high and low voltage machinery, and PLC fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and machinery in line with site requirements.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with high and low voltage circuits and PLC systems.

* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and unplanned repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

* Lead and engage with team members to prioritize tasks and distribute workload effectively.

* Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with HSE regulations.

* Provide technical support and training to operational staff to enhance performance and safety.

* Assist with job planning and scheduling to ensure the maintenance team meets operational goals.

* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, suggesting and implementing best practices and process optimizations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

* Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role, ideally within an industrial or bulk handling environment.

* Strong understanding of high and low voltage machinery and electrical circuits.

* Experience with PLC fault finding is highly desirable.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate a team.

* Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Ability to adapt to varying responsibilities and work collaboratively within a team.

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends (compromise is possible)
