Plumbing Lecturer - Full-Time Position

Working Hours: 37 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Lecturer to join our dynamic team. As a Plumbing Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality training to individuals looking to pursue careers in plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging and effective lessons in plumbing, including both theory and practical-based learning.
Planning and preparing lesson plans and teaching materials to suit a variety of learning styles.
Assessing and providing constructive feedback on students' work, ensuring progress and development.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, plumbing techniques, and regulations to inform curriculum development.
Ensuring health and safety standards are followed during practical sessions.
Supporting students in their learning and helping them to achieve their qualifications.
Contributing to the development and review of the plumbing curriculum to meet industry standards and student needs.
Participating in departmental meetings and continuing professional development activities.
Assisting students with career guidance and progression advice.Key Requirements:

A relevant qualification in plumbing, such as an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
A teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one.
Extensive practical experience in the plumbing industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their career goals.
Experience with assessing students' work and providing constructive feedback.
A sound understanding of health and safety standards in the plumbing industry.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learners.Desirable:

Previous experience teaching plumbing at a vocational level.
Industry certifications or up-to-date qualifications in relevant areas of plumbing (e.g., gas safety, renewables).What We Offer:
