An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Analyst to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team at our client's London head office. Day to day of the role:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll in multiple countries including the UK, Canada, Malta, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Australia, Spain, and Germany.
  • Ensuring compliance with all payroll and tax laws.
  • Leading payroll system upgrades and implementations, including technology selection and best practice process rollout.
  • Advising on technical payroll matters such as termination payments, benefits, and statutory payments.
  • Managing relationships with external Payroll vendors, employees, and other benefit providers.
  • Analysing data to resolve commission queries and reporting on payroll, earnings, headcount, recruitment, and introductory brokers.
  • Working closely with HR to track headcount against budget and improve the benefits package across the Group.
  • Assisting the Finance team by providing payroll activity data that impacts financial statements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related role.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working for a multinational is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Ambition and eagerness to develop skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-growth business environment.

You will need to have an analytical mind, as well as fairly strong MS Excel skills in order to be able to do this role, as well as be a people person who can liaise with people at all levels on payroll related matters with a great attitude.
