We are working with a government facilities service provider, looking for a Mechanical Supervisor at HMP Winchester, delivering planned and reactive maintenance in addition to project and change management. 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified plumber (gas trained) have a strong background water treatment along with line management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems for HVAC, plumbing, and Water Treatment
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical systems into overall building designs.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and efficiency.
Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:

NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 (Building Services or Mechanical discipline)
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Strong knowledge of Air Handling Unit's, Building Management Systems, Cooling Towers, Cold Water systems, Fan Coil Units, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment and Emergency Generators
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
