About the role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and enhancing the learning experience for our students by assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support for children with special educational needs, particularly those in the Autism Resource Provision.

Application Requirements:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.

• The ability to adapt to different learning styles and support diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring alignment with the curriculum.

• Provide tailored support for children with special educational needs, particularly those in the Autism Resource Provision, helping them access the curriculum effectively.

• Lead small group sessions to boost students' confidence and enhance their learning outcomes through targeted instruction and support.

• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies and resources to meet individual learning needs.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, kindness, and active participation among all students.
