About the Role:

As a Mid-Level Backend Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that enhance the customer experience
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to discussions around tools, architecture, and processes.
Work with a range of modern technologies, including Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, and various Azure technologies/services.
Design, optimize, and maintain robust databases (both relational SQL and NoSQL)

Who We Are Looking For:

Have commercial experience developing backend systems with meaningful complexity using any object-oriented language, with a preference for experience with TypeScript/Node, and familiarity with cloud-based services like Azure.
Be proficient in one or more backend-focused programming languages such as TypeScript, C#, Python - with a preference for the TypeScript and Node stack - and managing the code with version control systems, notably Git.
Have leveraged cloud components to deploy and operate your applications, with a strong preference for Azure and its related services.
Practice modern software development practices such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD,
Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, communicate well both verbally and written, and have great teamwork skills.
Be eager to take on responsibility and grow your technical skills by learning from other engineers and participating in code reviews.Mid Level Backend Software Engineer
