Here at ARM we are recruiting for a full time permanent Senior Programme Manager for a global IT services and consultancy client of ours.

Overview:

Responsible for DC Migration and Managed Services Transition as a part of an IT Outsource programme.

Programme Leadership:

Lead and manage the Managed Services Outsource programme of work comprising DC Migration and Transition along with the Transition of all existing Operational Services (Service Desk, End User Support, DataCentre Application, Business Applications as well as Infrastructure and Security Operations Centre - SOC) into a Strategic Managed Services capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Transition Plan Ownership: Develop, own, and execute the Transition Plan and interface into internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Managed Service Development: Drive the development and implementation of a strategic IT Managed Service capability (ITSM & ITIL)
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to ensure alignment and support for the programme.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the programme.
  • Budget Management: Manage programme budgets (P+L - £5M+), ensuring cost-effective delivery and value for money.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery of the Transition Plan comprising Data centre Design, Build and Migration along with closely managing the Transition of all existing Managed services into a Strategic Managed service capability that this role will also be accountable for building.

General-

  • Ensure compliance with data protection and information security policies.

  • Foster and promote continuous improvement in systems and processes.

Qualifications:

The person

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale IT outsourcing programmes comprising Transitioning from existing incumbent managed service provider into an in-house Managed service capability.
  • Must have previous leadership responsibility for a Data Centre Migration programme.
  • Must have previous experience in a Transition Programme Manager role with a responsibility to Transition from an existing provider
  • Managed Service Expertise: Demonstrated experience in building or migrating to an ITSM Managed Service capability (aligned to ITIL)
  • Strategic Capability: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with experience in developing IT Managed Service capabilities.
  • ITSM and ITIL Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver solutions.
  • Minimum of 5yrs+ working at a Programme Manager level.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is a bonus.
  • Executive Level Operation: Comfortable operating at an executive level, with the ability to engage senior leadership.
  • ITIL Expert, PMP, or similar certifications.
