Job Description DO&COis looking for a highly motivated and energetic F1 Health & Safety Coordinator who will drive health and safety standards through the provision of advice, support, and guidance. You will be responsible for ensuring that DO & CO adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations whilst also providing support to employees and other managers in their efforts to maintain a safe workplace.
- Compiling the annual Risk Assessment and Method Statement for Do&Co F1 operations
- Collating and preparation of all H&S documentation for Do & Co from all suppliers
- Liaison with Circuit H&S departments and with F1 H&S Team
- Enforcing adherence to the Site Safety Rules by Do & Co staff and contractors (when on-site)
- Carry out or assist in developing further risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced for staff and contractors
- Review and recommend improvements to outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards
- Quality assure through regular site inspections that the current safe working policies and procedures are being properly implemented by staff and contractors
- Take part in the in-house meetings with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
- Conducting inductions where required by local legislation or circuit instruction
- Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that identify good practice but also identify and prioritize suggested improvements in safe working practice
- Record incidents and accidents and produce statistics for managers
- Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry
- Produce management reports and ensure equipment is installed safely
- Quality assure and advise on the management and the distribution of all the Additional Emergency Signs/ Safety Notices/Fire Extinguishers & Blankets
- Advise and quality assure on a range of specialist areas, e.g. Fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases
- To manage the handover and handback of the F1 Paddock Club and the GP facilities at every location:
- Ensuring the buildings meet the required local safety regulations
- All electrical equipment is in working order, such as lift, cooker hoods, AC’s, all plumbing work is in order
- The building has been cleaned to DO & CO standard
- To prepare a thorough damage report

Qualifications - Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Willing to travel (around 25 events - 170 days)
- Facility background
- Experience in managing and executing venue handover / handback
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
