Civil engineering organisation, in existence over 70 years, with a place on major infrastructure frameworks, requires a Permanent Works Design Coordinator in Suffolk. This role is available on a hybrid basis.

Joining a focused and engaged team, the Design Coordinator will work on civil engineering projects with a range of clients, including Highways England and the Environment Agency.

* Manage and coordinate a team of design engineers, including external ones

* Attend meetings with client to discuss design solutions

* Put together design documents, reports and plans

* Carry out design reviews, to ensure compliance with project requirements

* Provide advice on buildability and value-added engineering

Experience:

* Background in civil engineering, gained as a Senior Engineer, Agent, Site Manager

* Understanding of design process, standards, specifications and codes

* Experience in the design of heavy civil engineering schemes
