Do you have a passion for building relationships and developing new business opportunities? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a well-established and fast-growing company based in Solihull.About the Role:With a winning track record and industry recognition, this company is the perfect place for a driven and ambitious individual to build their career.As the Sales Manager you will take ownership of all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting and initial introduction to assisting with the tender process and beyond. You will create and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, generating sales leads to both major blue-chip companies and SME businesses. You will use interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organisational skills to build and nurture relationships with clients and prospective clients across the organisation.What you'll be doing:

  • Generate Sales Leads: Identify decision makers/potential clients and nurture relationships. Building and maintain a database of prospects.
  • Build Relationships: Maintain close relationships with prospects and clients to drive future opportunities.
  • Business Development: Prospect, nurture, and develop new business opportunities to present to the CEO.
  • Account Management: Ensure successful working relationships to allow scope for further sales and drive future opportunities.
  • Marketing Support: Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and distribute effective external marketing materials.
Who you are:You are passionate, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and engage with the business and it's valued customers. You are confident in your abilities and excel in interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills and have a proven track record in building and growing relationships. You live by core values such as integrity, customer service, and supporting your colleagues, which align with the companies culture.
  • A demonstrable history of consistently achieving new business and hitting commercial targets.
  • Experience in prospecting, negotiating, and closing contracted sales.
  • The ability to build and grow strong relationships across an organisation and with external customers.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a real willingness to learn and engage with the business and its clients.
