Role: Data Engineering Lead

Location: Manchester

Hybrid: 2 days a week in office

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience)

Insight into the Company:

This global organisation is dominating the UK market at the moment and looking for a Data Engineer Lead to join their dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in Data Engineering, with 2 years (minimum) experience with managing junior people.

You will also have strong stakeholder management experience and have demonstrable practise working with C-Suite clients e.g. CTOs.

Role and Responsibilities:

• You will work on the roadmap
• You will interact with key stakeholders
• You will be in charge of managing and developing ETL pipelines from a variety of sources

Skills and Experience:

• Essential to have expertise with:
  • ETL pipelines, building, maintaining and scaling
  • Python
  • Stakeholder management
  • CI/CD and DevOps
• Desirable to have experience with:
  • Azure

Interview Process:

• There are 3 stages to the process:

1. 30 minute introductory chat with the Head of Strategy
2. Case study presentation around data and thoughts
3. Interview with Head of Data and Analytics + CTO
