Equifind have partnered with a global financial services group to assist them with their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their London team.

They are a fiercely ambitious company, growing across the world both through diversification, organic growth and acquisitions. Boasting revenue in the billions with a workforce of more than 7,000 employees spanning 4 continents.

The Finance Business Partner will serve as a key liaison between the finance department and various business units within the company. This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to provide insightful financial analysis, strategic guidance, and support to senior management and department heads.

You’ll be joining a London finance team of 30 people covering which includes teams such as Financial Control, Business Partners, FP&A, Finance Systems, Tax, Compensation and more.

Key Duties Include:

  • Work closely with department heads and project teams to evaluate financial viability and profitability of new initiatives, projects, and investments
  • Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess the impact of various strategic decisions on the company's bottom line
  • Management of the monthly reporting process (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash-flow), timely delivery of draft financial information and raising key points for review.
  • Management of business line reporting and analysis, ensuring that transactions continue to be entered into the system in accordance with the latest reporting requirements.
  • Responsibility and ownership of accurate balance sheet accounts and reconciliations on a monthly basis, applying appropriate judgement re the treatment of technical items.
  • Assisting with the year-end audit and tax process

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (preferably trained in an audit)
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within an audit/finance function
  • Sound understanding of IFRS reporting standards
  • Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel
  • Strong excel skills and advanced modelling
  • Exceptional commercial awareness

Compensation:

  • Base salary of £60-65,000
