My Client is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in designing manufacturing engineering systems.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong electrical bias to start a career within a well known organization, and have a fresh start in 2025!

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical calculations.
• Electrical control panel layout / design.
• AutoCAD and Possibly Solid Works as a design/drafting tool.
• Selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors, weighing systems etc.
• Development and Programming various manufacturers PLC's, HMI's and SCADA.
• Produce project related documentation using various IT package including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
• Direct involvement in control panel design, build and testing.
• On-site commissioning of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems
• Involvement in the budgeting and estimation process
• Assist in the CE Marking assessment using Laidler/Sistema Software and produce supporting documentation.
• Functional Safety system design to include interlocks / guarding / trip systems
• Design of systems compliant with ATEX Regulations - COMPEX certified
