The Project Manager manages all aspects of the client's project's interfaces with rail operations and its internal stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the impact of construction activities on rail operations and customer satisfaction is minimized.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

Establish strong working relationships with the client's station operations team and its internal stakeholders, setting up formal and informal communication channels.
Project Manage interfacing packages such as Park Street Bridge, RBS wall activities, surveys within the rail area, Green Rd activities, etc.
Lead on the preparation and submission of work package plans, Forms Cs, Form H/Gs, and other relevant interface deliverables.
Lead on the update of any rail interface activities planning.
Ensure rail operations and interfaces are considered in all aspects of the implementation planning of the project.
Manage the interface in accordance with the project Interface Management Plan. This includes being responsible for the Interface Control Document, associated Interface Register, and chairing and recording interface meetings.
Support the client with all negotiations and presentations to the public, transport pressure groups, unions, and other interested parties as necessary.
Chair weekly planning and coordination meetings between the client and the project construction team, ensuring that operations needs are fully considered in the detailed planning and methodology.
Act as the main point of contact for any emergency incidents involving rail operations.
Arrange and record any condition inspections and reports regarding the client's assets and oversee any making good works.
Ensure a register of all commitments and undertakings to the client's station operations is maintained and fully complied with.
Manage any possessions required as part of the construction project, including possession planning and booking.
Oversee deliveries to site by rail and ensure that rail windows are agreed in advance with the client.
Identify and manage all activities required to protect the client's assets, including both physical protection and monitoring.
Knowledge and experience of rail engineering assurance, including relevant industry standards and protocols.

Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience:

Relevant experience of rail operations.
Relevant experience in rail projects or managing rail interfaces.
Past experience of major construction projects.
Degree, HNC, or similar higher education qualification.
