Description

Develop and implement strategic procurement processes
Lead negotiation with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Anticipate and manage any supply chain risks
Develop a comprehensive strategy for logistics management and distribution
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team
Ensure compliance with all relevant UK and EU laws and financial regulations
Responsible for contract negotiation, commercial terms, renews and end-to-end procurement.Profile

A successful Commercial Manager should have:

A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
Proven working experience as a procurement manager or officer with 10+yrs experience
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a knack for reading the market
stakeholder management
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
Experience in collecting and analysing data

Salary aim: £90,000 give or take base + package
