We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in cost management, contract negotiation, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all costs related to civil construction projects, ensuring the best possible value while maintaining quality.
- Prepare and review tenders, estimates, and contract documentation.
- Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and procurement to ensure maximum financial returns.
- Provide financial and commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee risk management, value engineering, and change control processes.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Prepare reports on project performance, budgets, and forecasts.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development.
- Strong knowledge of relevant construction contracts, including NEC and JCT forms.
- Excellent financial management and cost control skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
