Coben Healthcare are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and innovative UK care provider in their search for a Registered Manager for a brand new service, recently commissioned in Birmingham.

As this LD & Autism Children's Registered Manager you will be overseeing the day to day running and operations of a 3 bedded residential home, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.

Job Requirements:

· Provide strong leadership, direction and guidance to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working culture

· Manage residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders and Support Workers

· Develop and implement care plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs and preferences

· Ensure compliance with Company, Children's Homes Regulations & OFSTED, standards & policies

· Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups

· Maintain accurate records and documentation, including individual care plans, risk assessments and incident reports

· Coordinate holistic support for the children and young people and promote an environment of continuous improvement to enhance the quality of care provided

Skills / Qualifications:

* 2+ years experience of managing a Children's Home / Service

* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or Children's Residential Care

* Sound knowledge of OFSTED legislation, regulations and best practices in children's residential care services

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and external stakeholders.

* Dedicated and inspiring, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff

* Committed to company values including purpose, accountability, empathy, community and excellence.
