NonStop Consulting, in collaboration with the NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker / AMHP to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. Based in South London with free parking and excellent transport links, our whole-borough Early Psychosis team is known for its supportive environment, systemic approach, and commitment to evidence-based, strengths-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within the EIP team to deliver early intervention services for service users following their first episode of psychosis.
  • Use strengths-based and systemic approaches to enable service users' recovery and promote independence.
  • Assess, plan, and manage complex cases, providing high-quality, evidence-based support.
  • Conduct AMHP duties one week every 5-6 weeks, ensuring regular engagement with the AMHP service.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues, service users, and families to ensure person-centered, recovery-focused care.
  • Maintain a high standard of practice, staying informed about current best practices, especially under the Care Act, and contributing to a supportive team environment.

As the Senior Social Worker within the Early Psychosis team, you will be working with service users during their crucial recovery period following a first episode of psychosis. Your role will emphasize strength-based, person-centered approaches, with a focus on maximizing each individual's potential for recovery.
