Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team for a short-term project focused on structural steel work. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Stick/MMA welding on-site in Warminster, ensuring all welds meet the required quality standards and specifications. This is a physically demanding role that requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform Stick/MMA welding on structural steel components as per project requirements.
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
* Assemble, align, and weld structural steel parts in accordance with technical instructions.
* Inspect welds for quality, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and project standards.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
* Follow all site-specific safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Stick/MMA welding, particularly with structural steel.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good physical stamina and ability to work in various site conditions.
* Relevant welding certifications are preferred.
Duration:
This is a temporary position with a duration of 2 weeks, working 50 hours per week.
