About the Pub

The Market House is a traditional-looking pub with great curb appeal. It's found in the heart of Collumpton and is indeed the heart of the community. The Pub is already an established favourite amongst locals in the town and is fantastically supported by a wide range of people. The pub is known for its excellent drinks range, sports teams, and the sense of community it offers. The pub has a single large bar that serves an open-plan layout. There is a dedicated area for great sporting action, including a pool table, darts board, HD screens, and full TNT & Sky sports packages.

There is a great skittle alley which can be used as a private hire room, accessed from the pub with a separate bar, the room can be used as a further bar trading area. The room has a bar and doors that lead out onto a fantastic large garden, a real sun trap in the summer months with a separate covered area.

Regional Manager's Thoughts

Regional Manager Paul says: This is a pub with lots of character and charm. We currently have very consistent trade, but we have plenty of scope to build night-time sales. With a solid plan to use low-cost, no-cost entertainment in the week and some weekend night DJs/singers. I’m looking for an operator who is passionate about sport and can create an atmosphere around all the sporting events throughout the year. An ability to promote the business externally is essential.
