Warehouse Operative

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Job Type: Full-time /Permanent 

Pay: £12.10-£12.67 per hour

Hours: 40 per week Monday -Friday , Hours are AM shift 0600am -2:30pm and PM 2:30pm - 11pm (No Rotating)

Our client is  fastest growing logistics company based in Bury St Edmunds are currently recruiting for a warehouse operative to join their expanding team on a full time, permanent basis.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in which you can learn and develop.  

The ideal candidate:

Have a proven warehouse background.

Ability to work under pressure.

Work well as a team and independently.

A positive "cando" attitude.

Duties:

 Operate MHE safely and effectively according to requirements.

Unloading goods in.

Checking in goods.

Putting away products keeping the warehouse

Picking products as per customer orders.

Checking orders, ensuring accuracy.

Packing orders to ensure safety in delivery.

Loading deliveries.

Undertaking any other duties as may be required.

Use of WMS

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Good level of Numeracy and Literacy

Basic PC skills

Knowledge of Company Health and safety policy

Housekeeping awareness

Qualifications to operate PPT, Pivot Steer, Counterbalance, VNA
