Associate Building Surveyor - Join a Thriving Practice in North London

A growing property and construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join their collaborative team of 24 professionals in their brand new, state-of-the-art, North London office.

This role is perfect for a driven and experienced Associate Building Surveyor looking to progress towards a Partnership role within a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Role of the successful Associate Building Surveyor

The successful Associate Building Surveyor will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, and Architects, to deliver exceptional services to a diverse client base across commercial, retail, residential, and public sectors.

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will focus on contract administration, project management, specification writing, building surveys, and pre- and post-contract services. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and make a significant impact on the business's success, with the opportunity to run a small team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a variety of projects, from initial client brief to final delivery
  • Conduct building surveys and prepare detailed reports
  • Oversee contract administration and project management
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships
  • Oversee a small team, invest in their progression and drive their success
The Ideal Associate Building Surveyor

This role is ideal for an Associate Building Surveyor with strong technical expertise, who thrives in a close-knit team and is confident in business development. You will have a consultancy background, a commercial mindset, and a proactive approach to both client management and team collaboration.

  • MRICS qualification
  • Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
  • Solid experience in contract administration and project management
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Ambition to progress to Partnership level
