We're seeking a talented and experienced Legal Assistant to join our growing Private Client team in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic department, supporting our solicitors and ensuring exceptional client care. Private client lawyers act for private individuals on legal matters such as wealth management, wills, trusts and probate.

What you'll do:

• Be the right-hand support to our Private Client solicitors, keeping their workload running smoothly.
• Utilize our case management system to draft accurate and professional correspondence.
• Build rapport with clients, providing excellent service over the phone and in person.
• Take ownership of our filing systems, ensuring efficient organization and retrieval of client documents.
• Maintain strict procedures for handling confidential client deeds and documentation.
• Share your knowledge and expertise, assisting colleagues and fostering a collaborative team spirit.
• Embrace opportunities for training and development, taking ownership of your professional growth.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• Proven experience working within a Private Client department
• Initiative and the ability to work independently on research, ID checks, and file management tasks.
• Impeccable accuracy and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills with a confident phone manner.
• A meticulous and adaptable approach to work.
• Experience with audio typing (a plus, but not essential).
• Familiarity with legal documents and terminology (training provided).
• A strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
