Major Route Litter Picking Operative

Location: Wiltshire, UK

Contract type: 6-month FTC,

Working hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3pm and Fridays until 2:30 pm

Salary: £11.44 per hour

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Major Route Litter Operative to join our team in Wiltshire. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness along major routes through litter picking, sweeping, and emptying bins. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and has a flexible, proactive approach. If you enjoy working outdoors and keeping public spaces clean, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Sweeping and cleansing major routes
• Litter picking to maintain cleanliness standards
• Emptying public bins and ensuring waste is disposed of properly

Requirements

• Some experience in litter picking or similar roles will be advantageous.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and professional approach
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable to varying work demands
• Full, clean UK driver's licence
