Senior HR People Partner/ER Case Manager

Senior HR People Partner/ER Case Manager

Full Time - 40 hours per week

£40k - 42k p/a depending on experience

This is a lovely opportunity for a Level 7 CIPD qualified and experienced generalist to join our warm and welcoming HR team. We share responsibilities and we work effectively and closely together, as a supportive team. If you have worked in an HR generalist/ER focussed role before, perhaps as an HR Manager, Business Partner or Senior Advisor, and if you are robust, highly organised and efficient with excellent verbal and written communication skills, then this could for you.

You will support, guide and coach our people managers with disciplinaries, grievances and absence management; and you will need to be able to successfully mitigate employment associated risks, follow our policies and procedures, and assist our managers to apply good quality judgement to decision making. You will be capable of quickly building professional and trusting relationships, and your ability to formulate a clear pathway to an end result is critical.

This role is broad, as you will also be supporting the entire employee lifecycle with transactional tasks e.g. producing contracts, change and leaver letters, recording and analysing absence data. Experience and confidence with HR information systems is essential (we use Kronos Workforce Ready - training will be provided), and you will need to be comfortable to 'muck in' with the basic admin tasks as well as we all work as a cooperative and supportive team together.

In return, you will get a generous holiday allowance that increases with length of service, regular, good quality management support, a contributory pension scheme, and you will be well rewarded for demonstrating commitment and a strong work ethic.

You must be capable of managing a busy workload, and knowledge of the care sector and/or safeguarding will be an advantage but is not essential. You will have the ability to build positive and professional relationships, and you will demonstrate the utmost discretion and sensitivity for confidential information concerning both staff and residents.

Your base will either be St Neots or Welwyn Garden City, whichever is more convenient to you (mileage is reimbursed for travel to other sites). We are a small, family-owned business. Our residential homes boast beautiful modern and luxurious design, and we are a rapidly growing venture that will provide the right person with an excellent all round HR career.

This role is primarily an on-site role, but occasional working from home can be accommodated.

We don't just accept difference, we welcome it. No matter what your sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, gender identity, religion or any other characteristic, we welcome your application. As a team we actively celebrate, support and thrive on diversity for the benefit of our residents and staff, and we believe this creates an environment of empowerment and mutual respect and therefore excellence in care
